Our FIND of the Day....

Everyone loves a FIND.  

(Find:  Anything that is cheap or free.... the best finds are unexpected!)

We were working on the store today.

Mind you....   this store was built in 1897.

1897..... UNBELIEVABLE!

It was built in 1897 and started out as a Cigar Manufacturer!

Throughout the years, it has been used for many different things...

- Liquor License Application Location (1913)

- A Bakery and Fruit Store (1915)

- Jewelry Store (1916)

Since 1932, it has been the Moose Lodge, 3 different restaurants, Sherwin Williams, and Townhouse Antiques (which was there when I was in high school.)

The building has looked like this ever since I can remember and has sat empty for quite some time.  

(It already looks different now)

Today, I had to run to the hardware store to pick up a couple of things for Deb.  

When I got back, she said, "I found you some treasures....."

My thoughts......   Was it a ring worth a million dollars???

hahahahahahahahaha   (I'm cracking myself up.)

Was it a diamond???

What was it?

 She found these old books BEHIND the radiators.

Now....  only a few of our friends would find this exciting....
   It always makes you wonder WHO dropped them there???

 You can still see the gold leaf on the pages.

 They were displayed, right along with the rest of my collection!
