It All Started with This Picture.....

And it went from there...........

You know how that goes... one thing leads to another.  

You find a picture... 

Then you need to paint... 

Then you need new bedding and pillows.... 

We had a client call us and said she found this picture and she LOVED it.  She had it hanging in her room above her bed, but it was time for a room re-do.

(BEFORE pictures are unavailable, but the ceiling and walls were white 

with a white ceiling fan and oak colored furniture.)

First things first......  what should we do about 

that plain white ceiling fan????  

 You know how we feel about chandeliers.....and, of course, it has to have a dimmer!

We decided to paint the bed and the dresser black with neutral bedding and curtains....

Paint her side tables a creamy white....

This is a picture of our client as a little girl playing the piano....   So sweet!

And add a little pop of the red.... to match the picture!

The mirror was originally attached to the back of the dresser and an oak color.  We decided to paint it the creamy white to pull everything together AND hang it directly on the wall to give it a fresh look.












This was my client's hand print and her dress she wore as a baby.  A family friend knitted it for her.  Isn't it so cute?

Look at the tiny little buttons.

I LOVE how it all turned out... and it all started with the picture!
